For better or worse, we’re back online.
Last week’s working / family road trip to California was a little too eventful for my taste — first, my hosting company lost everything: the Bixie Blog, all franus.com functionality, and everything at about eight other sites. Then came the end of the week: Bob wound up in ICU and Libby had a baby girl(!). So Stacia and Bixie took off on a moment’s notice from Oakland for Wisconsin, Beau and I drove back to Oregon, and here we are, trying to recreate everything online, starting with basic mail functionality.
And there you have it. Obviously this site is all new — nothing recovered from the former Bixie Cakes Blog, and this is the first entry. We’ll be back at it soon, but I wanted to let you know we’re here, no fear, get over it. Or something like that.
